Great, AMAZING tour from Amaze Tours and Dinesh!

Lawson, who makes the arrangements, was very kind and patient. We booked this as a shore excursion exactly one day before arriving. He absolutely went way out of his way to customize the trip exactly for what I wanted to see and do. The guide Dinesh was our very best guide we have had in Asia. Excellent tour

This tour is great value. Pick up at the Hilton airport hotel was included. Our driver Sahajad was certainly masterful in the Mumbai traffic. Our guide Maze was friendly, knowledgeable and above all enthusiastic about the city and her people. Really enjoyed the tour. Recommended.

Amazing tour around a truely beautiful city!

We were met at our hotel reception at the precise pickup time by our Driver Mr Muktar and tour Guide Mr Denish. The car was tidy, comfortable and well airconditioned. Mr Denish had prepared a wonderful itinerary for us his local knowledge and connection meant our tour was not just a hop off hop on, we were taken deep into the cities rich cultural landmarks and having experiences that we would never have been able to have exploring alone! Like being invited to walk through the largest open air laundry in the world. Mr Denish’s knowledge of the history and culture of this beautiful city was second to none and his wicked sense of humour kept us entertained all day! I would highly recommend this tour!!

Excellent tour

Lokesh and Arun were excellent during the tour. Arun, the driver, dropped us off at our hotel despite very heavy traffic and we were very grateful. Lokesh, our guide, was very friendly and taught us so much about the history of Mumbai and various landmarks. He also helped shift our perspective of the slums, too. We didn't know much about them before, only what was presented in slumdog millionaire, which ended up being a very inaccurate representation. Everyone works so hard, and their sense of community and faith is beautiful.

Great tour of Mumbai.

Our guide, Ovis was very puctual. He was very knowledgeable and articulate about the history and places of interest in Mumbai. He was professional and respectful. His tour was well organised and helpful with local shopping/negotiations. We would highly recommend this tour and our guide, Ovis.

Good tour very informative

This is a great way to see Mumbai from all angles. You see the amazing though archaic hand laundry stalls to beautiful monuments and historical sites.

Maze and Amaze

Maze is an excellent guide and super person. Engaging and personable from start to finish and introduced us to many things Mumbai not least Vada Pav! Leroy was also super quick and efficient at getting the pickup location and admin all sorted as soon as we booked.

Great

Perfect tour if you're on a tight schedule and want to see the most important sights in Mumbai. Loved the train ride and pav bhaji that were included in the price. Both the guide and the driver were very friendly and helpful and the guide spoke excellent English, although -1 star for an unnecessary sexist comment.

Absolutely fabulous private tour for two. Our guide Alum was the best we have in a very long time. He shared his personal stories. He communicated with us the previous evening and suggested we leave earlier than our 10:00 scheduled time and we agreed to 8:30am. There was light traffic due to a holiday and we had plenty of time at each if our scheduled stops. He even added a few extra experiences including a ten minute ride on the central train system at the finale of the tour. Perfect day! Our driver Arjun was professional and friendly. Altogether a wonderful experience!

Mumbai with Loki

Loki was a great guide , knew what he was talking about and very engaging . He took us to some interesting spots , let us stop for a spot of shopping in the market and let us pass on parts that we did not want to visit

Dive into Bombay

The tour was excellent. Together with our guide Shailander and our driver we planned our route based on what we have already seen before. Shailander showed us areas of Bombay we haven’t seen before. We dived into the vibrant city. The explanations were comprehensive and exiting. A top action!

Fantastic service

An excellent way to get a taste of Bombay when on a tight time schedule. We paid a small premium to be picked up / taken back to North Bombay. Nitin was a fantastic and super friendly driver as was our guide Loki who was a charming and knowledgeable guide. Thank you guys for a great tour.

Excellent tour - get a little bit of everything!

Loved the impromptu train ride and the Fact that we saw so many things in one day. Markets were particular highlights as wouldn’t normally go there without a guide.

A must do in Mumbai

A must do in Mumbai, great whistle stop tour! Our guide Alam was very knowledgeable and the driver Mr Pawan was excellent

Great trip

I would recommend this trip if you haven't got long to spend in Mumbai and want to see the highlights in half a day. Our lovely guide Ganesh picked us up at our hotel ( with driver Pawan - also very friendly) and he suggested various places we might like to visit. It's very laid back - you don't feel hurried from place to place. Ganesh is knowledgeable and witty too ! We were put at ease immediately. 5 stars from us!

Great overview of Mumbai!

This tour provides an excellent overview of all key sites of Mumbai for any first-time visitor. It was one of our best tours while in India.

Great City & Slums tour of Mumbai

Booked a private tour of the City and the Slums and was not disappointed. Ganesh was an outstanding guide who was so knowledgeable, funny, and thorough. He made such an amazing effort to ensure a solo travel like myself was entertained and educated. Would 10/10 recommended Ganesh and this tour again.

Lovely evening in Mumbai with Viator tours n travels!

Me and my girlfriend took this tour ( both women).Our guide Lokesh was very professional and knowledgeable and a true gentleman:) He gave us a detailed explanation to every place we visited. Clicked beautiful pictures for us. Even the driver was very nice, jovial and quite informative. We enjoyed the evening thoroughly with both of them. Thank you and I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Mumbai for the first time.

Cannot experience Mumbai properly without this tour!

If you're on the fence about doing this tour, I would highly recommend you go for it. We did some sightseeing in Goa without a guide & it was not even close to comparing to this. Having someone local to explain everything & answer all our questions was invaluable. Lokesh was out guide for this tour & he was amazing. Personable, funny & he knows so much about Mumbai! We went to lots of different places, but a particular highlight was going through the Dhobi Ghat Laundry. A really sobering experience, getting insight into how so many people live every day. We also had some delicious local food on the tour. Highly recommend both the company, & particularly Lokesh.

Seeing the outdoor laundry was amazing. Sunil our guide was brilliant and provided a very comprehensive service.

Mumbai tour

What an amazing organised experience Shailander and Aaroon gave of Mumbai. Shailander shred great knowledge and expertise in the history of the different areas but also would have conversations which fantastic in it not just being a Job or a script and made it more of a personal experience. Great priceless experience, one to remember.

This was a great experience, was able to really learn and get involved with some Cricket players along with learning much of the history and culture on Mumbai/ India. Mr Pawn our driver was a gentleman always making sure the car was cool for us whenever we returned to head to a new location. As for Mr. Naynish was an absolute gentleman and great tour guide. He was probably one our favorite tour guides that we have had in comparison to many other locations, and I say that comparing to others worldwide. His generosity and professionalism was top notch loved how he got involved with the locals and even took it upon to further explain any questions we had, truly great experience.

Amazing tour experience

Had an amazing experience with Mr Prayag and his team on the 19th. 10/10 would recommend this, it is a long tour but worth the time and money I spent to explore Mumbai and its fascinating culture and history. The team I was with were very knowledgeable and friendly!

This is a great tour for anyone in Mumbai for the first time! My guide Lokesh gave a great customized tour and I was able to see and learn about all the major historical sights in Mumbai. 10/10 Experience!

Amazing Tour Experience

I had an amazing experience with Mr Dinesh. He was very knowledgeable about the city. He was also able to answer all of my questions I had about the culture here in India and Mumbai. I would recommend him personally. Because I am introvert he made me feel very comfortable and called me by name. The driver was also great. If you want a custom experience choose Mr Dinesh. Fabulous Mumbai Highlights Tour

We only had a day in Mumbai and this was the perfect tour. A glimpse of the city and it’s working with our very knowledgeable guide Nano. Nano was very personable and had some interesting stories and good knowledge of the city’s history. Although I have been many times, it was my husband’s first time in India and what a great introduction to the city. Some of the places we would definitely would not have managed ourselves. A knowledgeable guide and a knowledgeable driver to navigate the chaotic streets of Mumbai. We be opted for lunch in Leopolds as we had a choice and managed to get there early enough to avoid the queues. Delicious! We recommend starting the tour as early as possible if doing a day tour as the heat can be exhausting.

The best of Mumbai

Great advices provided by the guides on what should I do in order to maximise my day before I depart from mumbai. Tour guide, Sunil and Maze was amazing. They are gentleman, friendly, humorous and knowledgeable in every way. Generous in sharing Informations. Feel free to ask any question u would like to know about Mumbai, they are ready to answer you. The tour was well arranged at good pace and I get to experience bits of everything around 8 hours in mumbai city. As a solo traveller, I feel safe to have them with me. Highly recommended.

Excellent overview of the city

Excellent experience, very knowledgeable guide - spent a lovely day exploring the city including parts we would’ve never found ourselves probably. Guide and driver were very friendly and professional and provided a smooth experience. They also happily accommodated our requests outside of the route. Would highly recommend!

Great tour, would recommend

We had an amazing time with Surendre who showed us around the city. We got to see all the sites and he was very helpful with pictures.

Just fantasti!

So many great things about this experience: 1. I booked the same day, and they were able to accommodate our request within 1 hour (amazing!). 2. They sent a nice car to my hotel and maintained constant communication, which was super helpful. 3. Our tour guide, Mr. Alam, was fantastic and extremely knowledgeable, making our experience awesome. 4. They customized our tour to fit our day and dropped us off at our next experience.

Weak Effort

Guide and Driver were late for the pick up although we were advised. Guide was tentative and not in control of the overall tour experience. Did not seem to have a clear plan as to what to see and do. I was consistently asked , "what do you want to see/do?". As a first time visitor to Mumbai, that was why I hired a guide. Driver was new/inexperienced and the guide spent most of his time advising the driver where he wanted him to go. I'm sure that this could be a wonderful tour but I wasn't lucky this time around

Recommended

I highly recommend this tour for those in Mumbai for a short time and want to do a whistle-stop tour of the main sites of interest. Our guide Maze was amazing (pun intended), knowledgeable and humorous. We were a party of 8, all accommodated in an air-conditioned minibus. I loved that we stopped at a well-known street food stall for a vada pav and masala chai, busy with locals. It was a long day (6 hours), but well worth it IMO.

Great Mumbai insight.

We enjoyed our tour, visited Victoria Terminus, Ghandi’s residence, zero point, temple, short train ride, dhoby ghaut etc, our guide Dinesh was competent, knowledgeable, witty and respectful.

We got to see and experience many of the main tourism sites in Mumbai. Our tour guide, Alam, was excellent. He was very professional, friendly and informative. He really worked hard to make the experience fun, meaningful and memorable. Highly recommend this tour.

A fantastic taste of the highlights of Mumbai!

What a fantastic day enjoying Mumbai. A special thanks to my guide, Mr Shailander and my driver, Mr Dara, who made this day so memorable. Mr Shailander was enthusiastic and personable, and was willing to share his extensive knowledge of the country and its rich history with me. He even allowed me to join into a local cricket game, and took me to a local market (not even included on the itinerary)! So much more than I expected - made my trip!

Amazing day with Dinesh and Prabhaka! Both were consummate hosts and provided an excellent intro and many insights into the fascinating world of Mumbai. Dinesh gave an immense amount of context and perspective in a short period of time, but also encouraged me to ask questions and invited much curiosity. I had a short time in Mumbai and this experience was a gamechanger in that it unlocked infinitely more than I would have been able to do on my own.

An insider's view of Mumbai

The best way to see Mumbai is through the eyes of a local, who is knowledgable and passionate about his city. My tour guide Ashrad from Amaze tours was all these things and more--he came to the hotel exactly on time, his vehicle was clean and air-conditioned, which makes a big difference in Mumbai, drove in a very calm and careful manner in the midst of chaos, was always courteous and mindful of my comfort and most importantly--was quick to point out interesting details and provide an insider's view of the city. Since I only had one day for sightseeing, I really appreciated the opportunity to see so many different sights in a very condensed form. Highly recommend this tour guide!

Fabulous early morning tour.

We had an early start at 6 am. It was so worth the early start to miss the traffic and go to the Flower market and the fish market. Maze was engaging and knowledgeable and our driver Pawan was excellent. We went to the mini Ganges and the biggest outdoor laundry in Asia! Gateway of India and lots of other fascinating places. I would 100% recommend this company for a real taste of Mumbai. shukria. 🙏

Great trip would recommend

We took this trip to have a look around Mumbai and it was very good, we were taken to the biggest laundry, Ghandi’s house which was interesting then on to the gateway of India which was quite impressive with the backdrop of the Taj Palace hotel. Our guide was Mr Shailander who Strangely insisted on opening the car door for me but not my wife? Other than that he was very knowledgeable and informative, took us for a delightful lunch at the leopold cafe.

Excellent tour

Mr. Pradeep picked us up right on time. Mr. Sunil was a great guide and has so much information to share. He was willing to answer any questions we had. The market was interesting, but I don’t recommend going through the animal/pet section. It was heartbreaking to see.
